Only what he actually said.
The words of Jesus, lifted straight out of the King James Bible and set down on their own — no commentary, no interpretation, nothing anybody else said. Read them, or press play and listen.
New here? What this is, and why it's different
For two thousand years people have argued about what Jesus meant. This is the other thing — what he actually said, with everything else taken away.
On the words page, every word is his. No narration, no chapter headings, none of the other half of the conversation. When you want the scene back around a saying, it is one tap away.
The text is the King James Bible, the 1769 standard text, long out of copyright. Which words are his comes from the red-letter tradition carried in the source text itself. In a handful of places that is genuinely an editor's judgement rather than a fact — and where it is, the app says so on the passage rather than pretending otherwise.
The words of Jesus
Start with his words alone. Move to the scene when you want to know who he was talking to and why. The way to live gathers everything he told people to do into one place. Or sit back and let it be read to you.
Only the words of Jesus
